Successful Holiday Donation Drive

Astronautics' employees once again gave generously to this year's holiday donation drive benefiting the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. Collectively, we raised $5,485 in monetary donations!

Even though the recipient organization was the same as last year, the drive had a slightly different twist with donations of high-demand personal care and household products like shampoo, lotion, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent-instead of food.

Final donation drive amounts were announced by President Chad Cundiff at the Astronautics holiday celebration at Discovery World on December 9.

The MHVI, founded and run by veterans, helps homeless and at-risk veterans achieve and maintain independent lifestyles. Since 2008, the MHVI has helped more than 3,000 veterans and their families in southeastern Wisconsin obtain benefits, housing, health care, furniture, household goods, food, clothing, transportation, toiletries and other necessities.
